What I Would Say if I Were Wander Franco

Over the weekend, some pictures were posted online of what appeared to be Wander Franco with a girl who is allegedly 14 years old. Here’s what I would say if I were Wander Franco to get out ahead of the story.

Statement from Wander Franco:

“Hello. I am shocked and appalled by the events of the last 48 hours. I am the victim of what appears to be a well-coordinated conspiracy perpetrated by the woke liberal media. I have no idea who that girl is in those pictures, and I don’t even think that is me in those pictures. In fact, I believe those are fake pictures that were generated by A.I. I categorically deny any accusation that I did anything inappropriate with a minor.

The real story here is that, once again, the fake news media is trying to distract the American Public from perhaps the greatest political scandal of our lifetime: Hunter Biden’s laptop.

What could possibly be on his laptop that would make the liberal media plant these fake stories about me? I don’t know, but I won’t rest until Hunter Biden is behind bars.

Until then, please know that any story you may hear about me or any “investigation” conducted by the woke MLB is a hoax. I look forward to playing shortstop for the Tampa Bay Rays for many years to come.”
